Zentangle Classes at Artists on the Bluff
Beginning Zentangle®
Zentangle® is an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. It is fun, relaxing, and anyone can use it to create beautiful pieces of art! It is enjoyed by a wide range of ages and skill levels across the world. During this two and a half to three hour introductory course, you will learn at least eight basic tangles and complete at least two tiles in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Price will be $35 and includes a mini-kit so you can tangle at home! Ages 12 and up. (Living Social/Amazon vouchers good for Beginning Zentangle classes only)

Beyond the Basics
For those who have completed a Beginning Zentangle class, this session offers more tangles and begins to explore using different strings for the tangles! The fun continues in this two and a half to three hour intermediate course. The price is $35 and includes all supplies!

Grids Alive!
For those who have completed a Beginning Zentangle class, and love a lot of structure, we will devote an entire class to working with grid patterns! The fun continues in this two and a half to three hour intermediate course. The price is $35 and includes all supplies!

Zentangle for Kids (NEW!!) Summer Camps!
There will be two camps set up - one for ages 9 - 11 and the other for ages 12+. It will be a week of half day classes offering a full range of Zentangle projects! We'll start with Beginning Zentangle and will work our way through advanced strings and tangles. We'll add some color and tangle on several items (cards, picture frames, insulated cups, etc.). Class size will be limited to 10 students per class. The classes will be three hours a day for the full week.
July 15 - 19 1 PM to 4 PM - Ages 9 - 11
July 22 - 26 9 AM to Noon - Ages 12+
Zentangle® – the Six Week Series Tuesday beginning June 11
1 to 4PM or 6 to 9PM
On June, we’ll start a series of Zentangle classes that moves from introductory Zentangle through several mini-workshop. Included in the Series are:
June 11 Basics of Zentangle – learn the basics of Zentangle and start building your portfolio of tangles.
June 18 Advanced Zentangle – advanced tangles, strings and enhancers
June 25 White on Black – use white gel pens on black tiles for some really inspiring looks
July 2
Fun with Color – introducing color into your work with colored inks and colored paper
- we'll work a little with card design
July 9 Mandalas – create the sacred circles with Zendala tiles and on larger paper - beautiful!
July 16 we will skip this week since I have an afternoon Kids Camp this week
July 23 Tangling Stuff – use the processes you’ve learned to tangle your tote bag, picture frames,
cards, etc.

*Journal – to keep all of your tangles together
*Set of black tiles – 21 black tiles to use with black or metallic pens
*Set of white tiles – 21 classic Zentangle tiles
*Set of Zendala Tiles (mandala tiles in a canister) – 21 round tiles
ALSO - graduates of the Six Week Series are invited to a monthly meeting with other Series graduates to tangle and find inspiration!! It's an awesome group!! Ages 12 and upThe price for the series is $150 for all classes and supplies.
